Out Enjoying The Sun

Sorrento Harbor this morning drenched in sunshine.

This afternoon in Acadia National Park

We took a sunny stroll around Jordan Pond.

One of my favorite walks in Acadia.

We came upon this teeny, tiny

itsy, bitsy green snake

And a loon out on the water.

At the end of the lake, we crossed this rustic bridge

before hiking up to the carriage trail above Jordan Pond to continue our walk.

On the side of the path we came upon some wild blueberries that were coming along nicely in the sun.

Back in the truck, we decided to head over to Bar Harbor.

Where we may have had some ice cream. Because it's fun to eat ice cream while sitting at the
town landing gazing out at all the sailing vessels,

and spying on pirates while dreaming up adventures that take place out on the high seas.

Anyway, that was our day in the sun on this most beautiful of Maine days.
