So far this year we're getting our daily walk in. Mostly at sunset.
5 down, 360 to go. At least that's the plan.
Sometimes after walking we just get in the truck and drive around to take more pictures.
Like this evening. But we really should concentrate more on our walking.
Do you know how easy it is for us to get side tracked while out walking around here?
Like when we run into someone else out for their daily walk.
Hi Jake. Paw.
Because mostly when we're not out walking, we're usually eating. This is what happens when you get a new diversion, like say, a new cookie stamp.
It's already my 2nd batch this year. Oh dear.
And then there's our evening cup of hot cocoa too.
Our new resolution: No walkie, no eatie.

That is an excellent resolution. And I love your little cookie stamp. Love it!
Of course, it goes without saying how much I love the views where you live. Oh, I love them so much.
What a wonderful place to take a walk! Definitely beats Ohio suburbia, let me tell ya!! I heart Jake...I got sidetracked by an English Bulldog named Mugsy today...I just love the pups!!
Happy New Year Lili!!
Breathtaking pictures. I think that is a wonderful resolution. The views make you want to walk.
Love your pics ... and the reminder to keep on walking too! Even in the cold, it's worth it. :)
LOL...whatever works I say. I GOTTA EAT..so guess that's one I should adopt! The photos are simply gorgeous! What a beautiful part of the country you live in. And I love your cookie stamp.
It's nice that you got to meet the adorable furman on your walk. :-)

I'm your newest follower. I love, love, love Maine!
Oh, my resolution too. We're both lucky to live where we have lovely places to walk. I had another mince pie today, oh dear!
what a beautiful place to walk and jake is adorable. hope you have a wonderful new year! all is good here and glad to be slowing down a bit! xoxo, mickey
My hubby and I walked
nearly every day out in
Washington over Christmas.
My parents live in the
country and I never tire
of seeing the snow-capped
mountains in the background,
farmhouses, barns, horses
and livestock in the foreground.
And, the sunrises and sunsets
are amazing. I am envious that
it is mild enough in Maine to
walk in the winter. It's in
the minus digits in the mornings
and evenings here in Minnesota,
this week! My flu is winding down,
so I should be back exercising,
soon. I miss it {and all the
treats that you earn}!!
Happy Friday, Lili!
xx Suzanne
PS: GREAT pics!!
A lovely reminder Lili. that I need to get out more and walk. The cookie stamp is darling. Have a great weekend!! Susan :)
Just found your blog, amazing photos just beautiful!
Well Lili dear,
First of all ADORABLE cookie stamp and ADORABLE Jake. I like your mantra NO WALKIE NO EATIE. I need to adopt that one.
Sending love for a great weekend. And, of course I've spent many an hour in the old Chicken Barn bookstore. How could anyone pass it by? Glad you liked my book post. Moving books is a back breaker!
Love to you,
