Ooh, Baby, Baby, It's A Wild World

We drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park today. From the top there is a nice vista of the Porcupine Islands which are the islands right off of Bar Harbor.

After driving around the Park we headed into Bar Harbor for some shopping and dinner at Geddy's. That's the restaurant with the big Moose on the top.

Once home, we even had a surprise visit from this little guy!

Porcupines, a Moose and even a Raccoon.

We can hardly wait until tomorrow! Nighty-night all!

Love your photo of the restaurant. I really like pics at that time of day/night.
They should use that on the cover of their menu or something.
Sounds like you guys are having fun!!

Dear Anonymous...the kids have already had their rabies shots because of last night's visit from Cujo...calm down already.

calm down? it's a well known fact that raccoons have the highest ratio of rabies of any animal in main. One little scratch could kill or maim for life one of your wonderfull grandbabys. I was not being grumpy. I just think you should err on the side of caution. What if one of the children got up in the night and saw them and opened the door? The coon could rush the door and bite or scratch. I don't think people can get pre rabies shots like dogs. A better world through education about wild animals. KEEP CHILDREN SAFE!! That will calm me down allready.................
