Cattails

Today, we took our walk up in Old Town on the street my Mom lives on.

Hello "Mr. Ed"

Oh hello little kitty, where did you come from?

He followed us all the way back to my mom's house. Henri wanted to take him home with us. But remember, Henri, we have a bird.

On the side of the road, I stopped to pick some cattails for my Mom.

That's when unbeknownst to me, my cell phone fell out of my pocket and into the water-filled ditch on the side of the road. Henri found it 2 hours later while he was petting the cat that kept following him around. So alas, we brought something 'new' home today.

Life's Good. Very, very good!

And you STILL wouldn't let him bring the kitty home? Poor kitty. Nice phone though. Although my very low tech phone has been dead at the bottom of my purse for a week, so what do I know?

Thanks for the b-day wishes. Yeah 10-10-10, can't wait!

Smiles,
Lisa

Awww poor kitty. When I was a kid we also had a parrot - and cats - several of them.

I'm not sure if you'd need to protect the parrot from the cats - our parrot did a good job of that - he would swoop down and peck at the cats' heads in a flying attack - he never drew blood - but he sure got some yowls out of those cats. They would sit and glare at him when he was locked in the cage - but they tried to steer clear of him when he was out.
