When we first saw my dining room set a couple weeks ago, it looked like this.
Then, I showed you what it looked like after I gave it a fresh coat of creme colored paint.
Leaving the original wood top alone.
But then, I decided to rough it up a bit.
Because I like it when things look worn and weathered.
And who knows how long that would have taken.
The older I get, the less I care about perfection.
And the more I treasure everything that is not.
