Ant Whisperer

My friend Diane recently gave me this mint plant . . .

after I had asked her if she knew what would get rid of these . . .

They disappeared within 1 day! And it's delicious in ice tea too.

This is just one of the many plants and tips Diane has shared with me. I just can't figure out one thing though . . . where did they go?

...who would have thought that such a lovely thing as mint would deter such a pesty thing as an ant! that is great information. i am going to have to plant it all around my house!...the glass of tea is very appealing with our temps in the 90's! xo, mickey

Weird...I just came in from viewing my new raised beds, thinking "Now, how can I get get my overpopulation of ants to stay away?" Does mint really work?

Sharon - Yay!! You're gonna have to teach me to say it that way...with my accent it comes out WOOHOO! Can't wait!!!

Mickey - Oh my! 90 degrees already, I'm thinking it probably would have looked a lot better to you if I had put ice in it! Sounds like it's time for a visit to the beach down there. Enjoy!

The One Woman - Oh how lucky you are to have a raised bed garden! (Or have the ant hills caused it to be newly raised?) All I know is that mint was like, magic...gone I tell you...they are GONE!
