Could Spring Be Far Off?

It seems as if we may have an early spring this year. I can't even remember the last time it snowed! We're enjoying more daylight during our walks at the end of the day.
I was surprised to see some of my newly sewn cherry tomato seeds already sprouting within a few days.

I decided it was a good time to start more seedlings for my vegetable garden.

This year I'm using popsicle sticks for markers, so I'll know what will be sprouting.

My friend Diane gave me this idea. Plus, this year, I know better than to rely on my memory. Last year I thought my cilantro was parsley up until it finally went to seed. And I thought my peas were cantalope. Not to mention I totally forgot to plant some rosemary.

This year I decided to include a cutting flower section in my garden.

Right now I'm imaging the luxury of having bouquets of fresh flowers that I can bring indoors all summer long. I sure hope we don't get more snow.

Spring is showing up around here too! And the popsicle idea is a great one! I bought seeds and hope to plant them this week!

Ahhh spring - planting things - what a wonderful time. We've reverted back to winter it seems - have had snow in the mountains and flurries here a couple days - we want our warm weather back - please send it back.

Hi Lili,

Do you stay busy or what? I wish I had more of your energy. Enjoy your weekend.

Ive started a bit of a garden on my bedroom balcony here. I have plexiglass wind breaks on the bottom of the porch and screens on top so it helps alot since I live in a windy area. But since its all closed in its a bit warmer too. I have lettuce planted now and a couple herbs and flowers. Not much since Im still learning about this area. But I like your ideas with the seeds. I may try them. Ive never really started much from seed so it will be an adventure.

BTW thanks for finding my page and stopping by. I see we both are Virgos. I wonder if thats why we both follow our dreams. :)
