It seems as if we may have an early spring this year. I can't even remember the last time it snowed! We're enjoying more daylight during our walks at the end of the day.
I was surprised to see some of my newly sewn cherry tomato seeds already sprouting within a few days.
I decided it was a good time to start more seedlings for my vegetable garden.
My friend Diane gave me this idea. Plus, this year, I know better than to rely on my memory. Last year I thought my cilantro was parsley up until it finally went to seed. And I thought my peas were cantalope. Not to mention I totally forgot to plant some rosemary.
This year I decided to include a cutting flower section in my garden.
Right now I'm imaging the luxury of having bouquets of fresh flowers that I can bring indoors all summer long. I sure hope we don't get more snow.
