I still don't have a twitter account, so I know nothing about tweeting, but what I do know is how to Skype. The first time our grandkids saw us over the video camera, one of them suddenly got a little shy. That's our little Alivia hiding her face in the web shot below. And this was the first time we got to lay eyes on our newest granddaughter, Emmy Rose, who is nearly 6 months old.
Now it's become old hat and we love it every time we hear our laptop ring.
I still can't get over that this is a free service.
Until we get to see this little one in person for the first time, we are sure having fun getting to know her from the other side of a webcam.

What a wonderful invention. The world just keeps getting smaller and smaller. Beautiful grands.

I LOVE Skype! I've had an account for years now. It's such a wonderful way to keep in touch with the ones you love!
Kat :)
Fabulous - we'll have to get skype when our kids in WV start having babies - oh WV is ever so far away!
Hi Lili,
Thats so awesome . . cute grandkids. What would we do without a computer, years ago, this wouldn't have never been possible, got to love technology.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
This is the greatest way of seeing each other during the long months between visits! Such a wonderful Christmas gift...one that will certainly keep on giving :)
We love you so much!

I KNOW! Isn't it fabulous! We used to 'I-chat' my niece when she was in Germany....who'da thunk it!!
Totally agree, Skype's great. My daughter and I use it to chat - it helps me because I'm deaf and it means I can lipread her. It almost feels like being in the same room - so it melts the miles away.
She is gorgeous. I really must get my family onto Skype :-)
