I also found a long bench that I elevated above my shelves to display all my non pottery displays that were until now, taking up much needed pottery drying space.
And I think it is time for me to stop invading anymore of the space with my playful whims.

It's so funny when I read the title of your post I thought to myself...hmm what will Lili have to work on now?! It looks great and I'm sure you'll find something else to keep you occupied now that you have such a wonderful basement!
Kat :)
looks like a little space to call your very own---. I love all the the ways you made it so special. I am sure you will have a new project lined out by tomorrow!

Lili it looks gorgeous. It translates to the street to Chartres with Chartres being the name of a large town in France, there is a street called this in Paris and maybe others if they lead to this town.
Hope that this helps,

Whimsy is good. It's a comfort thing to me.
If I remember rightly, Chartres was traditionally a big stop for the Northerners on their way to St Jacques de Compostelle too... Now - are they champagne bottles I spy that were taking up your pottery drying space? tut tut ;-) hahaha!! Looking forward to hearing about the next project!
Very nice Lili!! And I bet you keep tweaking it... ;-)
looks lovely and so tidy and organized! i REALLY need to work on mine! have a beautiful day! susan
Your space is wonderful - so inviting with your special touches. Chartres is a town in France, with a famous cathedral. When we lived in Blue Lake, CA I was involved in the local, small museum. The founder of Blue Lake was from Chartres and went back several time to entice people to come to the US - he gave them 100.00 (in 1888) and a piece of property if they would come and build a home. The museum had several pictures of the cathedral in Chartres. Also one postcard sent from the top of the Eiffel Tower on one of the founder's trips to France.
I love your street sign.
Such a great space..., I'm very happy that all my redo projects will be done very soon. Now, you have time to create!!
Lili it turned out so fabulous! And so very French {you know I'm loving that}!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job!
