We spotted our first bloom while walking along Ocean Avenue today. It was rather lonely all by itself, but it sure was a welcome sight! Most unusual this early in Downeast Maine.
I just now noticed the little critter in the center there, that I didn't even see when I took this shot.
I've always liked this garden gate with the leaf cut out in the center.
And just because I'm silly sometimes, look at the view from their garden gate.
After our walk, I made some pecan linzer cookies for tomorrow. That's a bunny in case you were trying to figure it out. The jam is strawberry.
There are also some with sea shells to go along with the white chocolate shells I made up yesterday. Happy Easter!

Oh how I love that shot from the garden gate - so creative. The cookies look yummy - we are having chocolate cupcakes with spring colored sprinkles - just the things for two little boys, don't you think.
Happy Easter dear friend.
Happy Easter! That looks like a beautiful walk to take on an early Spring day - love the view through the peep-hole.
Gorgeous photos Lili, any chance that I could have the recipe for those fabulous looking recipes?
