Bright Spots Of Our Walk

Blue sky backdrop to this eagle weather vane atop a cupola.

This is Rosco, a blue tick hound dog. We just met him yesterday and we were so happy to see him again today.

What a welcome sight to see the winter shrinkwrap coming off of the sailboats as we passed by Sorrento's West Cove Boatyard.

Another blue sky backdrop, even though there are still no buds yet.

But then I spotted this newly budded tree right around the corner! The first that I have noticed here this year.

And then there are always the ocean views that we get to take in all along the way.

And, of course, it's so nice to walk without being bundled up in our winter coats!

I love the colors you selcted for your buoys. My springtime hobby for many years has been to drive around taking pictures of the freshly painted buoys. Fun to talk with the lobstermen too who wonder what in the world I am doing that for. I think I will have to go post some pictures on my own blog now. you inspired me.

Don't you just love it when you can pack up those heavy winter clothes and throw on flip flops, shorts, and a t-shirt?!

What a lovely walk - and I'm glad that someone can take off the winter clothes. It is colder here in the PNW now than it was in January. Only supposed to get up to 42 tomorrow - snow on the mountains and the passes - at least we don't have that.

I enjoyed the warm walk with you today.

Lili, your pictures are beautiful and so inspiring. We certainly don't take days like this for granted when living somewhere with four seasons! I really love them all--even the rugged winters. Each has it's attributes. Thanks for letting me walk with you! PS: Thanks for your note of welcome on my blog. Should have the welcome mat out over the weekend....!
