It's Been Way Too Long

When a few of you recently checked on me to ask if I was okay, it made me realize how long it had been since I last posted.  And it also made me feel fortunate to know I was missed.  Thank you guys for that!  So in between all the rain we've been having here lately, here are a few shots of the happenings right outside my window.

It's getting awfully green around here.

Everyone is so hungry!

Henri found a new use for our raku pottery.

And from where I sit at my laptop, thanks to Henri I now have some pretty pink flowers planted inside my flower boxes.

The view as the fog rolled in this morning just before we left for our trip to Bar Harbor.

So I've been having a food craving ever since I bought these adorable little whoopie pie earrings from Lisa over at Pink Porches.  She hand crafts all sorts of items to look exactly like the real deal over at her Etsy shop, and she does custom orders too!

The one and only place that has my most favorite edible version of them is Epi's in Bar Harbor.  They are so fresh, individually wrapped in saran wrap.  See it right there on the top of our takeout lunch?

Objects may appear larger than life when you get to eat the entire whoppie pie all by yourself.  Mmmmm.

Foggy and misty, it's still a nice day to visit Bar Harbor.

Gearing up for tourist season there's that certain excitement in the air again around here.

I just love seeing the old familiar sights and sounds again.

And belly full we head home, content that all is well in Bar Harbor land.  Let the season begin!  Thanks so much for stopping by to see what's up in our neck of the woods, you really do know how to make a gal feel special, you know!

There she is ! I really really thought you and Henri had taken a road trip!!! Glad that you had a post highlighted in my feeds tonight! Love the squirrel, and well the whoopie pie I think has gone and made me drool....Looks SOOOO good...oh my...and fresh? not wrapped in cellophane inside a box in a retail store (with preservatives?) must be divine...
The scenery is beautiful as always in Maine. Hugs to you and so glad to see you posting... :-) xo

I love these!! Hilarious about the whoopie pies. And aren't they an Amish specialty? You got a photo of the Margaret Todd! I would love to go on a cruise on her and have gotten photos from far away with her red sails out.

glad to see you back, Lili! I have missed you. Your two photos of the pink flowers are exquisite. You have such a lovely view through the flowers, and when the fog comes in, everything goes magic!

Lili I love when you visit me and leave such sweet comments, but I love it most when I can come visit you and see your beautiful photos and find out what you've been up to! Each and every one of them makes me want to visit Maine! The whoopie pies alone would be worth the trip!

Welcome back my friend!

Indeed...way too long but glad you are back. I love the misty fog rolling in photos, so dreamy. And I do dream of Maine. I haven't seen a whoopie pie in ages and that is probably a good thing, ha, ha.

Lovely misty shots, and that tall-masted ship is wonderful. As is the whoopie pie I imagine, though I've never had one.

Love the photos Lili! especially the fog and flowers before leaving to Bar Harbor! We must get there before the big tourist season hits also-very nice-you must have shared the whoopie pie-two dinners and one pie! Oh yes I noticed!--I'm not so sharing when it comes to homemade whoopie pies!! Take care!~~Rain
