My Favorite Shades of Aqua

Yesterday the water was a beautiful shade of aqua during our walk.

It's so nice to know the Winter is slowly releasing it's icy grip.

Can you believe it was a balmy 61 degrees here, and our inland areas broke a record at 68 degrees.

Here's a Cooper's Hawk I tried to get a clear shot of the other day through my window.  It's a little out of focus but he was in between branches the entire time and this was the best I could do.

Here's a bundle of miniature roses I picked up on our last trip to the grocery store.

I bought them right after I found this trio of vintage aqua bottles at a thrift store.

We're already enjoying our taste of Spring, both inside and outside.

Good thing because next up is Mud season, of which I will spare you any pictures from.

Beautiful pictures of the hawk, roses and shore. I can imagine the sweet smell of the roses. Yes, it is full blown mud season here. Emma and Lucky are tracking a majority of the mud in. Usually just afer I clean the floors.

Glad to see you are enjoying the warm weather. Our spirits have been lifted by the sunshine and spring flowers here in East TN.

Love those turquois bottles too! Oh, what I would give to go treasure hunting with you.

Pretty photos and hey, that's a cool one of the hawk. Yesterday when I came home from work, I saw a murder of crows and some of them were dive-bombing a tree. Sure enough, they were going after a hawk which flew away, with the crows following.

Love the hawk's breast feathers... sort of looks like a suit of armor.

I count that as one more sign of spring--when the ocean in Maine surrenders its gun-metal color and shows us a little blue green! Wahoo!! Lovely photos, Lili. The mountains behind are another shade of aqua. Thanks for sharing with us.

Wonderfully fabulous photos. I love all the colors - and those vases are so sweet.

That picture of the hawk is amazing - so close up.

We don't get a mud season - and from the sounds of it - I'm glad we don't. Our flowering trees are blooming all over town - crocus abound and daffodils are starting to bloom - as glorious spring!

The bottles are gorgeous, perfect for roses! From warm to snow again on Monday, now sun, but still cold. I do think of Spring in March, but the reality is a tiny bit different.

I was just thinking of you the other day...while looking at my vase I purchased from you last year...yes, the prettiest shade of Aqua. I still love it.
Would love warm days here ~ more snow today and tonight with sleet thrown in for good measure (and cold too).
All the best ~ Rebecca

Lili - the vintage aqua bottles are fabulous - love the photos with the roses - just beautiful. That water is truly lovely - (and we just came from a cruise full of beautiful aqua waters!).

You did indeed have a beautiful day for a walk - each day is a treasure - and a (weather) surprise!

That Cooper's is a beaut! Love that blue-gray coat. Could you tell if it had checked britches to match the vest? We had one like that in the yard a couple of weeks ago and I just don't have to optics to capture a good pic.
