When we awoke this morning, the last remnants of Earl had already blown through leaving us with some much needed rain and the enjoyment of some wave action that lasted throughout the entire day. We headed over to Acadia National Park to capture some shots.
We weren't the only ones that had the same idea.

Besides the rain, Earl left us with no damage, blue skies, rolling waves and a most welcome breath of fresh salt air! |

ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I love watching surf and waves and tide is because it reminds me of the raw power of that huge body of water. It can be so awesome and pleasurable for us to enjoy, and in a matter of moments it can literally destroy and take life.... wow...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, the rocky coastline and crashing waves! We didn't get anything, not even much rain or wind, but we do have amazing weather now! I was actually hoping for a little more wave action to open up our creek a little more. Mr. Tide always says I should be careful what I wish for!
